At Inter Continental Edinburgh The George Hotel and Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel, we have an exciting opening to join our team as a Groups and Events Co-ordinator… We are looking for someone who can commit to Full-Time, across 5 shifts per week. Being flexible would be a great plus! We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days - this means we can offer great flexibility if required We are paying £25,168.00 per annum, all overtime is paid for. As a Groups and Events Co-ordinator your main duties and responsibilities will include accurately inputting and handling guest itinerates and rooming lists. You will also be responsible for distributing and administering key groups and events documents, whilst supporting the commercial teams day to day activities as and when needed (such as completing POs, Internal Meeting Orders and invoicing). To be part of our charismatic team…the key skills & experience you’ll ideally already have are: Excellent customer service skills, experience dealing with client requests through email and phone Strong IT skills – you will be required to use various IT systems and Word applications Great time management and attention to detail, it is likely you will be dealing with a variety of tasks at once so this is essential! Experience in a commercial department within a Hotel would be highly beneficial – whether as an administrator or coordinator Overall, willing to get stuck in and help out where needed in order to maximise revenue!
