We are looking for Cabinetmakers to join our team. We are seeking motivated individuals who will complement our team. Position Details: Company: Quick Way Kitchen Cabinets Ltd. Business Address: Unit 106, 12677, 80 Ave, Surrey, BC, V3W 3A6Position: Cabinetmaker Number of positions: 2Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: $26.45 per hour Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Work location: Various locations in Surrey (BC) and other areas in Lower Mainland (BC) as per company’s contracts with its clients. Job duties • Study plans or drawings of articles to be constructed or repaired, and plan sequence of cutting or shaping operations to be performed. • Mark outline or dimensions of parts on wood according to plans or drawing specifications. • Operate variety of woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components. • Trim joints and fit parts/subassemblies together to make a complete unit using glue/clamps and reinforce joints using nails, screws, or other fasteners. • Smooth surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products. • Repair or renovate wooden cabinets and fixtures. • Install cabinets and custom woodworking at job sites.
