Randstad are currently working with Haberdasher Askes Knight Academy in the Bromley area who are seeking tutoring support in Maths and English, for their pupils at key stage 4. This will include two days as a supply teacher, and then supporting pupils with tutoring throughout the remainder of the week. The sessions are face to face, not only to build a childs knowledge, but also to exceed their confidence. Key responsibilities: Supporting pupils two days per week as a supply teacher Tutoring Maths and English at KS4 Following EHCP Plans Working with SEN pupils with challenging behaviours Creating lesson plans tailored to the students learning style backssing student progress, identifying areas for improvement and recording attainment levels using our internal reporting system Deliver engaging sessions to support a range of learning styles Drive measurable outcomes from each session to measure impact Work collaboratively with educational/care stakeholders ensuring student support. Working in accordance with the KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines. Desired experience: Experienced in tutoring one to one or small groups of pupils who require additional educational or pastoral support Experience in taking supervision and correction constructively Experience working in inclusion units, special settings or alternative provisions Experience in working with students with SEN, children with undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people or looked after children Responsibilities: Demonstrate academic competence in the subject area(s) and build a curriculum, creating lesson plans individual to the students learning style backssing.
