Warehouse Supervisor Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Location: Chadwell Heath Working Hours: 45 hours per week, 7am – 5pm Monday to Friday. We have a committed team of over 500 people supplying building materials to the trade and retail markets. Responsibilities – Warehouse Supervisor: As our Goods in Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for 5 Warehouse Operatives, ensuring a safe working environment and supervising and reporting the effectiveness of warehousing activities and performance. Reporting directly to the Warehouse manager. Overseeing the unloading and checking of deliveries from suppliers. To provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and ensuring they are always understood and practiced by the team. Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and individual employees performance. Supervise and control order picking, stock replenishment and everyday duties. Identify training needs to ensure all operatives are trained in accordance with the company operating procedures. Ensure equipment has the relevant checks made and records maintained. Person Specification: Previous experience in a similar role in a warehouse environment is essential. Previous experience dealing with sanitary ware is desirable.
