Junior Process Safety Consultant - c£35,000 per year + Benefits - Hampshire In partnership with a global Engineering Safety consultancy, Blackfield Associates are looking for a Junior Process Safety Consultant to join a growing specialist team based in Hampshire. Working in close partnership with in-house testing laboratories, the successful Junior Process Safety Consultant will be responsible for the provision of expert advice to blue chip clients on improving, understanding and mitigating the risks of process safety hazards and providing quality fire and explosion properties data on which to develop operational safety within plant. There will be a need to undertake consultancy work world-wide and deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions to technical safety challenges, working proactively with clients on the end-to-end process of identifying, scoping, reporting, follow-up, and auditing of safety projects. In order to be considered for this opportunity, candidates must hold a degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related subject. It would be advantageous to have some industry experience, more so in a process safety capacity. Familiarity with DSEAR/ATEX, HAZOP, HAC Hazardous Area Classification zoning etc. is also beneficial.
