If yes then Marshall Land Systems has a great opportunity on the horizon to join our business, working on our largest Canadian Land project - where we want you to lead the team of designers delivering that program. These are very exciting times for Marshall Land Systems, as we are going to be relocating to a purpose built facility in Alconbury Weald, Cambridgeshire at the end of 2025 and growing our Land capability in Canada. Our projects are varied and include, battlefield ambulances, simulators, explosive ordnance disposal vehicles, expanding containers that house a fully functioning CT scanner. You will be involved throughout the design lifecycle which includes concept design, detail design to supporting the through production build. In this role you will be managing a team of designers for both day to day work activities, but also with their personal development. Responsibilities will also include: Ensuring budgets and agreed scheduled are adhered to Identifying development needs and opportunities of team members and providing coaching to develop technical capability in line with the Departmental training plan and co-ordination with overall Engineering skills and capability development Holding and attending DFMA meetings. Inputting into lessons learnt meetings. Leading technical meetings. Resolving design queries and Inspection reports, including technical solutions to warranty issues.
