Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a Local Authority, based in Surrey, which is in need of an experienced Litigation and Regulatory Lawyer to join their team. Role: Litigation and Regulatory Lawyer – Solicitor, Lawyer or Legal Executive Rate: £50-£55ph Location: Surrey largely remote working with office attendance twice a month for licensing committee meetings Contract Length: 3 months ongoing – to cover long term sickness The Role of a Litigation and Regulatory Lawyer: Manage a varied Litigation and Regulatory caseload from start to completion Handling matters which will range from possession applications, " gas warrants" debt recovery, housing disrepair and Licensing Act advice Attend Licensing Committee meetings on behalf of the council The Person: Someone with 3+ years of PQE in Litigation and Regulatory law Ideally someone with Licensing Regulatory experience Someone who has experience of working for a Local Authority within a Litigation and Regulatory legal team Benefits: Remote working Flexible hours If this sounds like an opportunity of interest for you or someone you know, then please feel free to reach out to Hugh Barnes on 01772 xyzxyz, or email also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £250.
