Role: Engineering Manager Salary: GBP 60,000 : GBP 70,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Location: East Berkshire I have partnered with an industry: leading energy sustainability company who are looking to add to their growing team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to join an experienced and enthusiastic engineering team operating with a range of products and industries. The Engineering Manager will ideally have the following attributes: : BSc / BEng (Hons) qualified in Electronics Engineering or equivalent : Experience (5+ years) of practical engineering development activities : Experience in circuit design and ability to guide PCB layout specialists : Excellent communicator : Fluency in written and oral technical English Desirable: : Experience in mentoring and team development : Project/technical leadership of electronic designs : Experience with safety standards and EMC The Engineering Manager role will involve: : Leading a 20+ strong multi: disciplinary R and D team who have skills to cover all aspects of design : To manage staff and allocate projects and tasks to them. : To keep projects to specification, on budget and on time : Maintaining and developing existing products and designing new ones : Performing development activities to innovate new electronic solutions : To ensure all in: house and ISO procedures are followed for each project undertaken : Managing and developing the existing electronics team to be effective : Communicating effectively at all levels with a diverse set of peers, customers, and vendors Benefits: : Flexible hours : Pension scheme : Death in service benefit scheme : 25 days annual holiday If you are interested in the position and think you have the skills required, please don't hesitate to reply with an up: to: date CV and your availability to interview.
