Electronics Test Development Engineer : Hertfordshire : GBP 40,000 : GBP 50,000 pa An Electronics manufacturer are looking for a Test Development Engineer to join their R and D team developing next generation test and detection products. Responsibilities: : Specification, design, building, commissioning and testing of test equipment : Design and maintenance of electronic, electrical and electro: mechanical equipment : Design and development of software and firmware to control test systems : Functional test code development and sequencing with scripting tools like Lab VIEW : Ensure production test issues are resolved quickly, including root cause analysis and technical report writing Key Skills/Experience: : HND/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or another relevant discipline : Test design and development : Test equipment design and application (jigs and fixtures) : Electronics circuit design and simulation : Microcontrollers and Peripherals : Good understanding of electronics circuits and ability to read schematics Any mix of the following is nice to have's: : Electronics production process experience : Lab VIEW : PCB Design and Layout (Altium) : Analogue and Digital Circuit Design : Lean Six Sigma tools (Kaizen, Kanban etc. ) Benefits: : 5 Pension : Private Medical Insurance : 10 bonus : 25 days holiday : Flexitime and hybrid working If you are interested in the position and think you have the skills required as a Test Development Engineer, please don't hesitate.
