Purpose of Role Support the Supervisor in the management of health and safety, quality of work and employee coaching Support the Shipping/Receiving department Tracking and record keeping for employee related matters Attendance and productivity monitoring and reporting Here’s where you’ll be focusing: Make real-time decisions using a Warehouse Management System to allocate work and staff in the most effective manner (Rearrange tasks based on work needed. E. g. Reassign employees as required) Constantly seek improvements and innovations to optimize performance and productivity (Typically, the coordinator acts as a participant in a lead project by the foreperson/senior foreperson) Take on an active role with team members and encourage their involvement Participate in training team members on MHE, selection methods and health and safety Attendance management and overtime calls for warehouse team members Track and submit daily hours to the payroll administrator.
