The Key formerly Home Care Assistance is looking for Certified PSW to become a part of our team and join our mission of Changing the Way the World Ages. The ideal candidate should be one who can provide mental and social stimulation to our mostly elderly or senior clients, in addition, to be able to fulfil technical PSW duties. Job Description: PSWs in Waterloo and Nearby areas, whose main responsibilities will contribute to managing activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain the autonomy of clients. Applicants of interest will work primarily with the elderly in autonomous, semi-autonomous and total care conditions. Main responsibilities: Providing basic care relating to clients’ ADLs and IADL’s Assistance with bathing, toileting, and dressing Assisting with walking, exercise, and mobility Medication reminders Requirements and Working Conditions: Valid First Aid / CPR certification (Level-C) Must have PSW Certification Must have valid driver's License and access to a vehicle Clear Vulnerable Sector Check Proof of eligibility to work in Canada Government ID Minimum 2 professional references 2 Step TB test Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal Salary: $17.50-$22.00 per hour Powered by Jazz HR.
