Purpose Provides strategic direction, leadership and oversight of internal and external communications for the Bank’s Global Compliance & AML programs, working closely with counterparts in the Global Communications team to ensure goals, plans and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the Bank’s overarching strategy and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. The Director, Global Compliance & AML Communications is responsible for building and delivering best in class internal and external communications both within the Global Compliance & AML group and enterprise-wide to drive understanding and successful execution of Bank objectives as they relate to Compliance & AML, collaborating with internal business line and functional partners to enhance communications within Global Compliance & AML and across the Bank. Accountabilities • Leads and drives a customer-focused culture across the Bank that is underscored by the role Compliance & AML plays in driving the strategic pillars for the Bank. • Works as a strategic and collaborative relationship manager and advisor to the Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, driving internal and external communications and thought leadership opportunities to support key Compliance goals and initiatives. • Leads and designs creative, robust internal and external communications plans for Global Compliance, including: - Driving the articulation of the Bank’s Compliance & AML narratives and themes (Conduct and Compliance, Building Trust, Enabling a Winning Team) to elevate the function’s purpose, strategy, solutions, partnerships, achievements and other relevant milestones. - Delivering thoughtful executive communications in support of Compliance & AML programs and initiatives.
