The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview In a fast-paced, multicultural environment, and under the general guidance of the Manager, the incumbent ensures the efficient delivery of high-quality and effective trained interpreter services. The incumbent assists in supporting and coordinating a competent complement of trained interpreters to meet service demands by assisting with recruitment and education needs, and by assisting with day-to-day coordination and evaluation of services. Main functions include: Human Resource Management. Matching, assigning and scheduling. Administrative. Decision-making. Experience Experience in staff recruitment, training, scheduling, supervision, evaluation. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Post-secondary degree/diploma in health/social services and/or management or equivalent combination of education and experience. Post secondary degree/diploma or other recognized training in interpretation/translation will be considered an asset. Certification/Licensure/Registration Valid driver’s license and use of a vehicle is considered an asset. Qualifications and Skills Demonstrated ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
