This special needs school caters for children between the ages of 2 and 19 who have autism and moderate and/or severe learning difficulties. This is an opportunity to join a well: run, established and friendly school where you can make a huge difference to the lives of pupils. There are 2 Full Time posts available from September 2023 SEN Teaching Assistant : Lewisham Details: SEN Teaching Assistant Work in a successful School with a friendly and inspiring team Primary and Secondary phases Support Class Teacher to deliver learning activities Monitor and manage students social and emotional development Assist with personal care duties when required Supervise students during breaks, lunch and out of school on trips Maintain high standard of safeguarding for all children Experience in a School setting or Care background / Support Worker would be advantageous FULL TIME SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT : LEWISHAM : APPLY NOW The applicants for this SEN Teaching Assistant role will need to be comfortable working within a special needs environment, have a positive attitude and be able to work as part of a team.
