Company Overview: My client is a leading provider of comprehensive building services solutions, committed to delivering excellence in facility management and sustainability. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a Critical Shift Maintenance Engineer to bolster their highly successful team and contribute to their ongoing success. Position: Critical Shift Maintenance Engineer : Building Services Location: Canary Wharf Salary: GBP48,000 (Dependant on experience) Responsibilities: 1 Operating, monitoring, and maintaining critical building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection, to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime. 2 Conducting routine inspections and tests on critical equipment and systems to identify and address potential issues before they escalate. 3 Responding promptly and effectively to emergency situations, troubleshooting and resolving critical system failures to restore functionality. 4 Collaborating with other maintenance and engineering teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination during shift transitions. 5 Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment readings, and repairs performed during your shift. 6 Following established protocols and safety procedures to maintain a secure and hazard: free environment. 7 Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior maintenance staff and assisting in their training and development. 8 Contributing to the development and improvement of preventive maintenance plans and strategies for critical systems.
