The ROLEThe 3D CAD Mechanical Design Engineer will create 3D mechanical designs of burners and valve skids (including BOMs) in addition to piping and instrumentation diagrams (P and IDS). The 3D CAD Mechanical Design Engineer will also be responsible for producing fabrication drawings (including dxf files) and BOMs for sub: assemblies. The minutia of the role includes; o Analysing project design documents and mechanical specifications / requirements to draft equipment required for the applicationo Make arithmetic computations using standard formulae o Utilise Auto CAD or Inventor in both 2D and 3D o Prepares various 3D and 2D drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies o Help the workshop to assist with design changes o Assist with reviewing customer feedback The Candidate Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and intelligent person with the following experience: Design experience in a mechanical environment Auto CAD/Autodesk Inventor experience3D CAD knowledgeMechanical Engineering skillsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsUsed to producing BOMsThe ambition to grow within the role and assume responsibility for own projectsTeam player Salary: Depending on experience PACKAGE includes; Pension Health Care Life Insurance Critical Illness Cover Etc.
