Job Title: Junior Sous Chef Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Salary: €3,000 - €4,200 gross per month + tips We are looking for a Sous Chef to join the fantastic team of a cool and trendy restaurant in Amsterdam. They are undergoing very exciting plans and they are looking for a Junior Sous Chef with previous experience in japanese or peruvian cuisine. If you enjoy maintaining high standards while managing high volumes, we want to hear from you Who are you Previous experience in fast paced environment necessary Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise Experience with Nikkei cuisine or either Japanese or Peruvian cuisine is necessary Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards Outstanding communication and leadership skills Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes Credentials in health and safety training Degree in Culinary science or related certificate Live in the Netherlands or are a EU citizen and is open to relocate What will you do Organizing different events/locations Prepare, cook and present high quality dishes to fascinate guests Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified needs Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the sous chef and head chef. Assist with inventory, ordering, supplier relationships, and management of supplies.
