Job Summary How you will make an impact: You will be responsible for running the pastry operations by creating, planning and supervising the daily production of top-quality pastries, desserts and baked goods As a Pastry Chef, you will: Ensure recipes and standards are followed, food costs are controlled, and appropriate quantity is prepared based on established production needs Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures Monitor and control the maintenance and sanitation of the pastry kitchen and equipment to ensure a work environment that meets/exceeds federal, provincial and corporate standards and regulations Order and maintain pastry supplies and products to ensure appropriate inventory levels About you: Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or in a relevant role You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent Post-secondary education.
