Date Posted: 08/24/2023 Req ID: 33627 Faculty/Division: VP - University Operations Department: Inst Research and Data Governance Campus : St. George (Downtown Toronto) Description: Under the general direction of the Director, Reporting and Analytics the incumbent is responsible for conducting end user training, coordinating front-line support and leading IRDG data and analytical projects related to process improvement and tool implementations. The Training and Project Specialist is the project lead for data-related projects that support University divisions in utilizing relevant data and information, including information confidential to Labour Relations. The incumbent leads the coordination of integrating costing from labour agreements into the Analytics tool, and acts as the technical liaison for planning the workforce budget analytics for divisions based on the information of the negotiations. The incumbent will also provide training and support to users in Faculties and divisions in a group setting or on an individual basis to ensure their understanding of new and/or modified data and analytical systems, processes, and tools. The incumbent will adapt training accordingly in an effort to continuously engage end users and support ongoing changes to processes and the institutional data warehouse and ensure maintenance of end user documentation. They will deliver expert level, high quality training to end users and integrate learning technology tools and services into their teaching. The incumbent will also be the primary point of contact for all Intuitional Research and Data Governance (IRDG) users requiring support at the University. As a primary support person they provide specific technical and non-technical guidance to staff while maintaining defined standards and excellence in customer service.
