ARC Business Solutions Inc. is currently seeking individuals with experience as a BI/Report Analyst for opportunities in Edmonton, AB. This is for a one year contract starting October 1 with a possible extension. ROLE: BI/Report Analyst Technical Knowledge 5+ years experience with SQL 5+ years experience with SSRS 5+ years experience with 3rd normal form database methodology 3+ years experience with Kimball data warehouse methodology 2+ years experience with Power BI Understanding of SSIS, Data Vault, Oracle, Microsoft CRM. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data models using SQL, SSIS, Power BI, 3 rd normal form, Kimball, and Data Vault. Participate in report development tasks liaising between business units, project manager, development team, DBA, and report architect. Ensure that report development tasks meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues. Ensure that developed reports are aligned with project clients standards and best practices. Develop unit tests for reports after development to ensure like for like from old to new systems. Participate in the testing phase of the project to identify and remedy potential problem areas. Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security standards.
