Field Service Engineer / Systems Engineer : IT systems and Medical equipment (training given) : covering installations, support and repair work, inspections / planned maintenance : for this highly successful medical systems provider. Field Service Engineer : the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well: established technology company that has seen good growth over the years. The products cover: mainstream Windows o/s and server, infrastructure and comms; applications installation; 2D and 3D imaging and x: ray systems. Working from home, covering mainly the east side of Scotland, with the main focus on the Edinburgh / Lothians, this role will have a focus on installation projects, but will also cover break/fix and support escalations, inspections and planned maintenance for a wide client base in the medical industry, including practices and hospitals. Field Service Engineer : Experience: Candidates should have strong IT skills coupled with some form of electro: mechanical ability (medical industry experience useful of course, but full OEM training will be given) with a good grounding in field service work: : Strong all: round PC hardware and software installation, configuration and support: Windows o/s; Windows Server; network connectivity; IP; routers, switches, hubs : Any medical equipment hardware support useful (X: Ray or imaging equipment highly desirable), but the company will provide full and ongoing training.
