Drywall Installers Rebel Drywall Ltd is seeking to hire 2 Drywall Installers to join our company on a full-time basis. We are looking for hard-working, experienced people. Rebel Drywall Ltd is located at 31551 Blueridge Drive, Abbotsford, BC V2T 6S6 The Drywall Installers will have at least 3 years of experience working in the field. Some industry courses in addition to the work experience would be considered an asset. The right candidate will perform the following duties: Read and interpret blueprints; measure the material to be cut and fit to cover walls and ceiling; measure and cut metal runners and studs to size; understand how to place and secure the drywall sheets on metal or wooden studs and/or joists; tape joints and apply the compound as needed and allow walls to dry; sand walls and ceilings to remove any excess compound, create surfaces as per design; have the ability to cut, joint and create differently shaped surfaces according to construction drawings; ability to use all hand and power tools of the trade; ability to communicate in English and perform other related duties as required. We are offering $28.00/hr for 40 hrs/week. Our projects are located across the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley Region. Transportation will be provided when needed.
