Purpose The Senior Analyst (“Analyst III”), Strategy is responsible for supporting the Strategy & Sustainability team on various projects, with specific responsibility of leading portions of the overall strategy program. General duties will include performing research, and analysis, communicating findings and conclusions, conducting evaluations of various scenarios and initiatives, and performing project management and coordination of workstreams and projects across the full range of Algonquin's business. This role will work collaboratively, across the team and broader business to develop, evolve, execute, and maintain our strategy. This is an exciting time to join the Strategy team – you will be supporting the team in developing and evolving our long-term strategy, researching new technologies and business models, quantifying value implications, executing on the strategy, and/ or building and maintaining our integrated planning capabilities. Accountabilities Support the development of the strategic plan, roadmaps, scorecards, and key performance indicators - providing strategic and critical thinking to determine issues that will have major impact to the energy and water industries. Perform market and competitor analysis both global and more specific jurisdiction level to understand trends, value creation thesis and develop Algonquin perspectives and insights from multiple sources and data points.
