The position will be responsible for the day-to-day activities within the yard and site logistics operation. They will manage and motivate the yard and logistics teams while developing the stockyard and logistics operations. They will manage and motivate the yard and logistics teams while developing the stockyard and logistics operations. What’s in it for you as Logistics Manager Remuneration circa up to £48,000 Competitive Company pension Excellent company benefits Permanent – full time position Days based position Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Strong career development and training opportunities Roles and Responsibility of the Logistics Manager: To lead and improve health and safety standards across the yard and logistics operation including daily yark checks People leadership, motivation, and management to create a flexible, effective and multi skilled workforce across all disciplines. Coach and develop the team through use of Clear Review system, and appraisals for wider team. Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized site and stockyard with visual management of mobile plant and pedestrians. Management of yard housekeeping and reduce waste including stock checks. Oversee Health, Safety and Environmental compliance within yard and logistics areas, including support with both local and ISO:14001 audits, and driving any associated actions.
