We are now looking to recruit an experienced Gas Safety Manager to work on our MOD contract. The Gas Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with gas safety regulations for both network gas systems and MOD (Ministry of Defence) networks in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the Joint Service Publication (JSP) Volume 3. The role involves managing and implementing gas safety procedures, conducting audits, training staff, and maintaining accurate records to ensure the safe operation of gas networks within the organisation. Key Responsibilities Stay up: to: date with relevant gas safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to network gas systems and MOD networks. Management of 8 gas persons across multiple sites across the M4/M40/M3 Corridor Ensure delivery of management plans, deal with compliance. Will need to audit the team Interpret and apply regulatory requirements to develop and maintain comprehensive gas safety policies and procedures. Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of gas safety management systems.
