As a commercial solicitor, you will be working in our legal team, providing a full range of legal and data protection support across the organisation, supporting all areas of the business, with frequent interaction with our colleagues in the U. S. and HCA UK in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor or legal executive with up to 2 years' PQE to join us. So, who are we? Based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, we offer solutions to manage spend effectively and improve performance, working with both public (NHS) and private healthcare providers to optimise the use of products and services to identify cost saving opportunities. As part of the HCA Healthcare Group, in March 2022, we were named in Ethisphere's World's Most Ethical Companies for the 12th time. As Corporate Counsel you will: Draft, review and negotiate bespoke and standard form agreements with suppliers, for the provision of products and services (including software solutions). Review edits proposed by the other contracting party, negotiate with the other party to arrive at mutually acceptable language, and assist the business client in finalising the document(s) for signature. Prepare and maintain contract templates. Take ownership of and manage internal and external queries, prioritising and escalating where necessary. Provide commercial advice (relating to general matters, debt recovery and terms and conditions) to internal and external clients/customers and other key stakeholders. Prepare documents, correspondence, forms and checklists. Provide marked up red line, clean and comparison documents, maintaining version control and drafts.
