NOC Code and TEER: NOC 72021, TEER 2Job Title: Contractors and supervisors, heavy equipment operator crews Salary: $35.00/hour for 30 hours per week Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible Language: English Minimum Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Positions Available: 1Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Job Location: Mission, BCEmployment groups: Youth, Visible minorities, Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada Employment conditions: to be determined Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure Work Site Environment: noisy, dusty Job Description: • Load, unload, and transport construction materials. • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. • Mix, pour and spread materials. • Assist heavy equipment operators. • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs. • Level earth to fine grade specifications. • Pave and rake asphalt. • Assist in demolishing buildings. • Clean and pile salvaged materials. • Operate dragline cranes to expose coal seams and ore deposits at open pit mines. • Perform routine maintenance work. • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
