Legal Secretary : Family Maidstone Full Time A GBP 24,000 : A GBP 26,000A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary to join a busy Family Law team based in Maidstone, Kent. The successful candidate will have Family Law Secretarial experience and proven ability to support 8 fee earners, including 4 partners across the Family team. Diary management for fee earners. Arranging appointments/meetings : including booking meeting rooms, preparing documents and arranging refreshments. Ensuring all files are kept up to date. Preparing correspondence and other written communications using the teams precedents, copy typing or audio/digital dictation. Maintaining accurate, individual time records using CMS in accordance with the firms procedures. Undertaking file opening and closing activities. Ensuring files are kept up to date. Attending team, partnership and training meetings as required. The ideal person will have excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast: paced environment. You will need to be confident working with various IT systems and have strong numeracy skills with an understanding of financial ledgers.
