An excellent opportunity for an Experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Installation Engineer to join a well-established company Newcastle upon Tyne! Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience. Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The Company: They provide all aspects of refrigeration and air conditioning services to a wide range of clients. They undertake design, service, maintenance and installation works on behalf of clients and other contractors. There will be opportunities to work in a variety of environments on all types of systems including refrigerated cabinets, cold rooms, cellar coolers, VRVs, cassette or wall mount air conditioning, heat pumps, extracts and ducted systems. They company are now looking to recruit the following: Air conditioning installers and teams to fit mainly Mitsubishi Electric split systems across the UK. Refrigeration installers and teams to fit Arneg refrigeration systems across the UK Improvers / 2nd man to progress to become lead installers. These are easier to install than A/C systems as the indoor units are fitted by our driver fitters – They can train A/C installers to do these works. Job Overview: Undertake the installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Commissioning and decommissioning systems. Working as part of a team. Working away from home frequently. Candidate Requirements: Proven & good air conditioning and refrigeration installation experience FGAS Qualification (Preferred but not Essential) Full UK Driving Licence. Preferred but not essential: CSCS skilled worker card. NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent. PASMA Certified. Desirable Qualities: Punctual and enthusiastic. Uses own initiative. A desire to learn the necessary skills. Ability to organise own equipment and van stock. Good health and safety awareness. A logical approach to solving engineering problems.
