With our Eastbourne site being responsible for creating motor controllers and drives, that in turn make the electronic equipment, (e. g. Smartphones) of the future Main Responsibilities: Define and implement the design and programming of Automated Electronic Test Systems (ATE) including Keysight i3070 In: Circuit: Test fixtures design and software development for PCA tests and bespoke Functional test systems for Module level testing Work with NPI team to define new product test strategy and introduce Design: for: test principles Apply test statistical techniques and use data analysis tools (Keysight Pathwave and SQL server) to improve failure rate and test quality Provide testability analysis for new designs and incorporate design: for: test techniques Work with outsourcing partners as required to manage workloads Provide documentation required to maintain and operate test equipment Skills / Knowledge / Experience: Key Skills 3+ years proven experience as a Test Development Engineer in a professional electronics manufacturing environment. Knowledge of electronic theory and ability to read and work from electronic schematics Experience using various test equipment including Digital Acquisition and electrical safety testers. Strong investigation skills and ability to establish root cause of problems Ability to multitask and prioritise to meet project targets.
