The Role: Press Tool Design Engineer Based from the office in Sutton Coldfield. Designing and developing press tool and fixture designs Implementing improvements to manufacturing and assembly processes. Also working on New Product Development. Delivering improved efficiency and reducing downtime. New product development, testing and research. Up to £35k basic + Package The Ideal Person: Press Tool Design Engineer Engineering qualification. Experience of tooling or jig and fixture design. Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings. Able to use a range of measuring equipment. Motivated towards achieving high standards of quality. Good IT skills , including Microsoft Office suite. Demonstrates good 3D CAD modelling software knowledge Creo Parametric preferred. Auto-CAD software knowledge. SAP Knowledge Preferred but not essential. Knowledge of metal manufacturing processes. Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
