Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a leading manufacturer of industrial diesel engines find a full: time Development Engineer (Air/Fuel Systems), and the role comes with a contract rate of A GBP 45.00 per hour. (Inside IR35) As a Development Engineer, you will collaborate with a global team of engineers, suppliers and production facilities, shaping solutions from concept to production that achieve world: class levels of quality and reliability. You will also plan and deliver air and fuel system/component development projects to time, cost and quality goals. In your first few weeks in this Development Engineer role, you can expect to: Communicate project status and key issues to peers, stakeholders and management Lead design reviews to gain cross: functional business support for new designs, supplier nomination and capital investment Collaborate with suppliers to develop specifications and deliver quality solutions through APQP backss technical risk through FMEA; define and coordinate simulation and validation activities. for this Development Engineer role, you will need a Bachelors degree in an accredited Engineering or related discipline or equivalent knowledge/experience. In addition, you should have a good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, engine systems and component development.
