The Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering is led by a dedicated and diverse group of academic and administrative professionals who exemplify excellence in their fields. Your opportunity: The Office of the Vice Dean, Graduate Studies aims to enrich the graduate student and postdoctoral fellow experience by providing programs and services that build professional skills, supports the exploration of diverse career pathways, and fosters community. This is an exciting time for graduate professional development in the Faculty, as we move forward to re-evaluate and expand our offerings. The Faculty is home to over 950 professional masters students, 650 research masters students,1000 Ph D students, and 350 postdoctoral fellows across seven engineering disciplines. These students and postdoctoral fellows are completing rigorous technical training and conducting cutting-edge research to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges. This position will work closely with the Vice Dean Graduate focusing on strategic planning for developing, implementing, and evaluating professional development student graduate programs.
