The Director, Leadership & Talent Management is responsible for defining and leading the leadership strategy within his/her assigned portfolio (International Banking & Digital, IT&S and Operations). He/She oversees the development and execution of leadership programs and processes partnering with other Communities of Expertise (COE) and HR Business Partners (HRBP). This role develops strong relationships across the Bank to align leadership strategy with business needs and goals while ensuring global consistency In this role you will: Align the leadership strategy with business priorities of areas supported and oversees the development of programs, processes, and policies to meet the overall talent agenda. Oversees the development and execution of leadership strategy and uses relevant metrics to backss outcomes. Be a trusted advisor to HRBPs and the business as the subject matter expert on all Leadership and Talent Management topics. Provide overall consultation (advice and counsel) and direction on Dynamic Talent Management (DTM) by partnering with their HR Business Partner groups to provide relevant and timely insights related to talent management (high potential talent development, succession planning, representation and development ROI) Provide support on SVP+ searches, by reviewing talent lists to suggest possible internal talent. The Director works with the Executive Talent Acquisition team and HR Business Partners in the identification of potential candidates Debrief on team backssments to ensure leaders have the right tools to generate results within their teams. Debrief on individual Leadership backssments to help employees focus on areas for development and identify options to help increase knowledge or experience, thus gaining deeper understanding of the talent.
