Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: * Receives and responds to call inquiries for potential admissions and generalized questions. * Obtains the required information to facilitate admissions. * Makes referrals for persons who are not appropriate for admission. * Oversees the operation of the Mobile Assessment Team, including responsibility for providing mobile clinical assessment and coordinating appropriate level of care as clinically determined. * Clinical and Administrative oversight of the Mobile Assessment service. * Performs all functions of the Mobile Assessment team, as needed. EDUCATION: * Masters' Degree in Social Work. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: * Current licensure or certification as required by discipline. CPI/CPR per policy. EXPERIENCE: * Experience with crisis management or intake preferred. * Three or more years experience in psychiatric assessment activities with supervisory experience. * A minimum of three years experience in a psychiatric hospital setting, including customer contact is preferred. * Five years social work experience with at least one year experience working with behavioral health populations in an acute care setting. * Clinical training in evidenced-based treatment modalities. * A working knowledge of the DSM-V and the Mental Status Exam. A working knowledge of the Addiction and Recovery field.
