Where You Belong.Job SummaryThe Service Supervisor is responsible for championing the delivery of service in the restaurant as well as in all outdoor dining venues. This position is key to driving an elevated Member/Guest experience for all meal periods by working closely with the entire team of service professionals. The duties performed by the Service Supervisor include, but are not limited to, ensuring the venue is properly set and ready for service, staffing is sufficient for the daypart and time of year, training and education is part of daily shift meeting as well as having a prominent presence on the floor with Members and Guests. The Service Supervisor will also be the liaison between the Heart-of-the-House and Front-of-the-House to insure a seamless dining experience. This position will work closely with the Service Managers and Food & Beverage Director to ensure the standards of service and safety guidelines are met. This is a full-time seasonal position with the opportunity to become a year-round, full-time position with the full benefits package at the end of the summer season. The pay range for this position is $26-$29 per hour with the potential for additional income through tips.Day-to-Day * Maintaining ClubCorp service standards as provided by the Food & Beverage Director. * Provide exceptional food and beverage service to Members and guests, thus ensuring satisfaction and Member retention. * Ensuring dining venues are properly set for service / ambience prior to Member arrival. * Managing the dining room operation during the respective daypart. * Getting to know the Members and their personal dining preferences. * Rallying the staff each day to create a positive work environment. * Ongoing training through line-ups, one-on-ones and dining debriefs. * Ensuring that all steps of service and standards of operation are executed daily. * Knowing the Aspen Glen Beverage Portfolio to include all liquor, beer, and wine offerings. * Serving all Members and Guests responsibly. * Understanding all menus to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and To Go alternatives. * Ensuring that each Member/Guest experiences an exceptional dining experience * Having a knowledge of all amenities offered at the Aspen Glen Club. * Complete scheduled inventories and ensure proper administration processes are followed. * Supervision of banquet staff as the point of contact for outside events or member events. * Produce weekly schedules for Front of House staff based on hours of operation and private events. * Daily updates to Point of Sale system to reflect price changes or daily specials. * Responsible for the completion of additional duties as assigned periodically by the F&B Director & General Manager.Other Accountabilities * Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club's operation, it may be necessary that each Employee Partner perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other Employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed. * Adhere to all the various company, club and department written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc., all of which go to make up the essential functions of the job. * Ability to work shifts as a server or bartender, while still being the lead, during slower times and during transition seasons, or to fill for unanticipated staffing changes. * Ability to promote a TEAM-oriented atmosphere among all heart and frontline staff. * Proficient in both front and back-of-the-house point-of-sale operations i.e. Micros. * Ability to exercise service recovery when appropriate. * Understanding of food and beverage numbers as they relate to restaurant operations. * Ensure that all checks and covers are correct and that all server checkout reports are compliant with company standards at the close of the shift. * Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. * Manage the reservation sheet daily. * Ability to ensure that all dining venues are closed out properly at the end of the shift and properly secured at the end of the day.About You * Excellent communication and articulation skills. * Strong professional demeanor and decorum and attention to social etiquette. * Capable of multitasking and proper time management. * Responsible alcohol management training. * CPR/First Aid Certification completion. * Food Safety Certification completion. * Alcohol/TIPS Certification Have more questions?
