π©ββοΈ Home Health Nurse with Ventilator Experience - Dallas, TX π Location: Dallas, TXπ΅ Salary: $35-40/hrπ Join our Dallas Team: Seeking a skilled Home Health Nurse with ventilator experience to provide dedicated care for an ALS patient in a one-on-one setting. Role and Responsibilities: π‘ Deliver specialized nursing care to an ALS patient at home, with a focus on ventilator support and management. π Administer medications, manage feeding tubes, and other medically necessary procedures according to the care plan. π Monitor patientβs health condition, manage ventilator settings, and respond to respiratory and other emergencies. π Maintain accurate patient records and report any changes in patient condition to healthcare professionals. π€ Work closely with family members to ensure they are informed and supported in patient care. π§° Ensure that all healthcare equipment is maintained and functioning properly. π Educate patients and families on ALS care and ventilator management, enhancing their ability to provide care. Qualifications: π RN or LVN/LPN degree with extensive experience in ventilator support, particularly in a home health setting. π Active RN or LVN/LPN license in Texas. β€οΈ Current CPR/BLS certification. π Ability to travel to patientβs home in Dallas. π» Proficient in EMR and healthcare software. π Committed to providing compassionate and skilled care to patients with ALS.
