Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial,Product Liability Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 8 Years, Job Overview: A law firm seeks a highly experienced Litigation Of Counsel with a science background, particularly in MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional research, analytical, and writing skills and a strong background in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation, preferably gained from an AmLaw 100 firm.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:J.D. degree.8+ years of litigation experience.DE Bar admission.Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience.Preferably 8 years of litigation experience gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.A science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) must be considered.Strong project management skills and attention to detail.Prefer candidates with immediately transferable skills and strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized schools.Certifications:DE Bar admission.Skills:Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.The ability to multi-task and prioritize is also required.
