Practice Area: Product Liability Defense,Litigation - Commercial, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 8 Years, Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel with extensive experience in litigation, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. The ideal candidate will have a science background and possess superior research, analytical, and writing skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.Experience with product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.A science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) must be considered.Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Strong project management skills and attention to detail.J.D. degree.Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience.Education and Certifications:J.D. degree.PA Bar admission.Skills:Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Project management skills.Attention to detail.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Proficiency in legal software and tools.Preferred Qualifications:8+ years of litigation experience.Science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology).Immediately transferable skills.Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
