This position entails:Job Overview: The Litigation Of Counsel will provide legal expertise and counsel in litigation matters, particularly on product liability and/or complex commercial litigation. They will collaborate with clients, lawyers, and third parties to deliver high-quality work products, meet deadlines, and ensure firm policies and practices adherence.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:8+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm.Experience with product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.A science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) must be considered.Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.Ability to multi-task and prioritize.Strong project management skills and attention to detail.J.D. degree.MN Bar admission.Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience.Skills:Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong project management skills.Attention to detail.Education/Certifications:J.D. degree.MN Bar admission.8+ years of litigation experience.A science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) is preferred.A strong academic background from nationally recognized schools preferred.
