You would be working for a family-owned business with a very friendly atmosphere that is an established leader in our industry. Customer service is paramount to our success. We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful leader with exceptional interpersonal skills to attract, engage, manage and build relationship with new/existing customers in the Great Lakes area (especially Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio and NE USA territories. This position can work from our Monroe, MI facility or our Waterloo, Iowa facility. You would be responsible for meeting the objectives of the Company's overall vision strategy by successfully managing the needs of the customers and prospects. This position reports to the Sales Team Manager and will be part of the Sales and Marketing team. Advanced Heat Treat's vision is Exceeding Expectations with UltraGlowing Results. Responsibilities: Expected to be a key cross-functional contributor and collaborative member of our Sales and Marketing Team Initiate and execute the business development of action plans to penetrate new and existing markets Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, supply and demand Ensure pricing of all products meets expected profit margin Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations Manage effective customer communication to ensure customer satisfaction Partner with our outside sales contractor network and participate in customer calls together Analyze statistics or other data from our CRM system to determine the level of customer service our organization is providing Coordinating with customer service and production manager to ensure orders are delivered and exceed customer expectations Develop leads via CRM, trade show attendance, and other methods Serve on appropriate professional committees First 60 days of onboarding will be learning operations and the quoting process. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in technical field preferred and 7+ years in industrial customer service or sales. Prior heat treat sales experience a plus. Position will require travel throughout the Great Lakes and NE USA territories. This position has flexibility with on-site and remote work. Travel is expected 25% of the month. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to self-start and work with a high sense of urgency.
