UW Mississauga is looking for an Event Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. We specialize in the development of advertising and promotional marketing campaigns for our diverse client base. Our Mississauga based office is committed to helping our clients to build their brands’ equity. We do this through creating and executing promotional advertising events that create buzz and increase profitability among our clients’ target demographic. As an Event Marketing Assistant your main responsibility will be to assist the Advertising Account Manager and promotional sales team in the creation, implementation and execution of direct marketing & promotional strategies for advertising campaigns across the Mississauga area designed to fit specific clients' needs. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Advertising Account Manager and promotional sales team in creating cost-effective regional promotional solutions with a specialized scale to target a specific demographic and market Assist in coordinating various types of on-site promotional sales techniques to stimulate demand for each client’s products/services/brands Display the promotional materials at on-site and in-store events, establish consumer connection and brand loyalty in a person-to-person interactive environment Proactively identify new promotional techniques to increase brand loyalty and increased profit As an Event Marketing Assistant, you will: Listen, understand, and take quick action. Like all of us, customers just want someone to listen and help get their problems solved. You'll do both. Assist customers in selecting the products and services that best suit their technology and communications goals and help to set up the account. Process upgrades, downgrades, new product purchases, and facilitate delivery and installation efficiently and effectively.
