Position Summary Support the Operational Efficiency Manager in operational improvement actions by preparing specifications, and related documents for asset maintenance contract. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, quotations, and related documents. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Computes costs and financial estimations, by projecting labor costs, material costs, and time Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing Presents prepared estimation, by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and Maintains cost data base (price book) by entering and backing up Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as Perform all other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Analyzing information, cost estimating, planning/forecasting, reporting research results, attention to detail, communicating with others, and bid requirement analysis. Ability to effectively Ability to calculate and project financial costs and Ability to multitask, use resources effectively and meet scheduled Strong computer skills including working knowledge of HQMS Contract Management Systems, Microsoft Excel and Word as well as familiarity with the Internet. Ability to provide timely estimation data for bid proposals, therefore the ideal candidate must work well under pressure and demonstrate agility and strong time management. Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree within Civil Engineering (will consider other Bachelor's degrees, if candidate has several years of immediate O&M industry experience) Minimum of 3-5+ years' experience in a related Estimator position Operations & Maintenance experience within infrastructure projects (i. e. post- construction) Financial knowledge and estimation experience, to provide clear.
