Job Title: Commis Chef Salary: around 1,800€ per month + accommodation + tips + meals + bonus + travel Location: Tilos, Greece We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our culinary team at our prestigious luxury hotel nestled on the beautiful island of Tilos, Greece. As a Commis Chef, you will work alongside experienced chefs to create exquisite culinary creations and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our discerning guests. Tasks: Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes and standards. Support senior chefs in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations. Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times, including proper storage and handling of ingredients. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials, showcasing creativity and innovation. Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering supplies as needed. Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Commis Chef or kitchen assistant. Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic culinary environment. Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Eligibility to work in Greece.
