As a Financial Consultant you will contribute to the overall success of MD Wealth in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Reporting to the Regional Manager, as a Financial Consultant, you will assist MD clients and their families in achieving their personal financial goals. Working as a partner with MD’s Specialist Advisors, you will leverage your years of experience and strong client focus to prepare comprehensive financial plans and specific investment strategies for clients. You will identify and develop new opportunities to prospect and grow the client base, while ensuring retention of clients through strong relationship building and the development of comprehensive financial plans. Is this role right for you? In this role you will: Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Prepare and execute quarterly business plans to aid in the meeting of individual, regional and corporate targets Actively participate in prospecting Complete financial planning in the areas of risk management, estate planning, liability management, cashflow/budgeting, education funding, tax, retirement planning, investment management, practice management and goal setting Prepare comprehensive financial plans and specific investment strategies based on MD Management developed and managed optimal portfolio ranges Understand and comply with all industry regulations and MD's program and process requirements Conduct financial planning seminars and information meetings throughout the region to inform clients about new strategies, legislative changes.
