Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide specialised support for pupils with Special Educational Needs SEN within our mainstream school environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all pupils, regardless of their individual needs, have access to quality education and support tailored to their requirements. Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide specialised support for pupils with Special Educational Needs SEN within our mainstream school environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all pupils, regardless of their individual needs, have access to quality education and support tailored to their requirements. Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils with SEN, both within the classroom and in designated support areas. Assist the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans IEPs and Individual Behaviour Plans IBPs for pupils with SEN. Support pupils with SEN in accessing the curriculum, adapting materials and resources as necessary to meet their individual needs. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel supported and valued. Work collaboratively with the SENCO Special Educational Needs Coordinator, teachers, and other support staff to ensure the effective implementation of support strategies. Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and SENCO as required. Assist with personal care and/or medical needs of pupils with SEN, in accordance with school policies and procedures. Contribute to the planning and delivery of interventions aimed at addressing specific learning or behavioural needs.
