Senior Business Systems Analyst - CMMS Implementation

Description:
STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta and more, including internationally in Mexico, India and Japan. We are looking for experienced Business Systems Analysts to support a major systems overhaul. This role involves mapping current processes, preparing system designs, conducting testing, overseeing deployment, and providing end-user training. The project duration is estimated to be 6 to 18 months. Responsibilities Documentation and Analysis * Develop gap analysis and detailed documentation. * Document and diagram functional and technical process flows. * Conduct research and analyze statistical data to make recommendations on administrative and operational problems, policies, and procedures. * Provide support for data audits for the department. Comprehensive Understanding * Analyze business process requirements to troubleshoot issues and develop process improvements. * Continuously research issues and proactively solve problems. Coordination and Collaboration * Coordinate problem resolution with Information Technology (IT) or current work management and asset management system technical support. * Actively participate in solution testing. * Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and coordinate with various stakeholders to achieve project goals. * Serve as a central point of coordination with IT on significant application/hardware problems and change request issues that require assignment of resources. Evaluation and Validation * Evaluate solutions and CMMS system vendor deliverables for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all requirements are met. Solution Development * Develop business solutions for changes to requirements and support necessary technical development for implementation. User Support and Training * Develop and maintain system user documentation. * Provide user support and training, including developing training materials, handouts, desktop procedures, and conducting training classes and one-on-one sessions. Organization and Prioritization * Plan, organize, and prioritize daily assignments and work activities effectively. Requirements * Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business or public administration, management information systems, or a closely related field. * Minimum of 5 years of professional business systems analysis experience in a large-scale system replacement project. * Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Excel. * Experience in implementing business rules through configuration and setup. * Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa. * Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. * Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and propose effective solutions. * Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in documentation, analysis, and system configurations. * Time Management: Effective time management skills to meet project deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach to providing user support and training, ensuring the system meets end-users' needs and expectations. Desirable * Understanding of SQL code/statements. * Experience with Work Management/Asset Management Systems. * Experience with Trimble Cityworks GIS-centric asset lifecycle management system. * Experience in the Electric and Water utility sectors. * Proficiency in Microsoft Project. Additional DetailsThe base range for this contract position is $60 - $70/per hour, depending on experience.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations.
