Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 5 Years, A law firm in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with at least 5 years of experience in litigation. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of litigation, supervise associates, and assume a forward-facing role with clients while also managing some administrative responsibilities. Duties:Handle all aspects of litigation and supervise associates.Draft legal documents such as notices, discovery, affidavits, subpoenas, and trial exhibits.Prepare deposition summaries for use in mediation and trial.Conduct factual investigations and analysis of file data.Review and organize case records per firm procedures.Maintain electronic and hardcopy case files per firm procedures.Log and submit case time and expense billing.Provide monthly case updates to supervising attorneys.Maintain competency through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations.Perform docket management and maintain regular contact with all parties involved in litigation.Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, counsel, third parties, and other stakeholders.Collaborate with colleagues and demonstrate teamwork effort. Requirements:Graduated from an accredited Law School with a GPA in the top 33%.Licensed to practice in Texas and in good standing with the Texas State Bar Association.5+ years of litigation experience.Knowledge of e-filing procedures and litigation discovery.Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Adobe Software.Experience with practice and case management databases (e.g., iManage) and timekeeping/billing systems.Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.Superior problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with sound judgment.Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited Law School.Admission to the Texas State Bar Association. Skills:Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.Ability to work under supervision and balance priorities to meet deadlines.Effective presentation skills and ability to respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.Proficiency in legal research and drafting.Attention to detail and accuracy in work.Commitment to maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
