Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist, Division Chief University of Missouri, School of Medicine All Ranks All Tracks The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health is seeking an innovative, strategic leader to head the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). This position offers the opportunity to lead our well-established Division, its innovative clinical programs, and its faculty and staff into the future. The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, & Women’s Health is the leader in mid Missouri for the provision of women’s healthcare, and Ob/Gyn clinical education, and reproductive science research. The Director of REI will play a prominent role in developing a compelling vision for clinical services within the Division. This vision will be focused on growth, while embracing MU's academic pillars of education and researc h. We seek a strong leader in REI with a powerful combination of vision, energy, and leadership who will embrace the patient-centric culture within MU Health Care (MUHC). The Director must have a passion for introducing and advancing state-of-the-art clinical services and a strong business sense with the ability to responsibly manage the human, material, and financial resources in the division. Additionally, the Director will align the resources of the Division with women's health services across our health system. The new Director will possess strong leadership skills, business acumen, and the passion to drive the Division to the spotlight on a national level. The Director will also work effectively with the leadership of the School of Medicine (SOM) and MUHC to foster collaboration and engagement across research, teaching, and clinical missions. They will also develop new interdisciplinary initiatives designed to engage multiple disciplines throughout the University. Major Responsibilities: Lead the Division of REI Collaborate with the leadership of the SOM, MUHC, and the department Work with the Department Chair, Dr. Jean Ricci Goodman, and the Senior Department Administrator, to ensure that the REI clinical business is fully aligned with department strategic and budgetary goals Provide oversight and strong leadership over all educational, clinical, and research activities within the Division. Develop a regional and national reputation across all divisional missions Effectively mentor division faculty to develop his/her academic career. Professional Qualifications: MD or DO Hold ABOG board certification in General Obstetrics & Gynecology Hold ABOG board certification or board eligibility in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility At least 5 years of successful IVF practice is desirable for our IVF Division Director Role Eligible for licensure in the State of Missouri Candidates will be evaluated on: Possess both leadership experience and a willingness to seek additional leadership development Have the ability to recruit and retain clinical faculty members Bear a strong business sense Professional Experience: Candidates will be evaluated on: : Demonstrated leadership in an academic environment Participation in national REI academic activities An understanding of the complexities of academic life and the interactions between departments (divisions), hospitals, and health care systems.
