Description:
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of an international medical institute will define and execute the organization's future vision and strategy, expanding its role in global health. The CEO will engage external partners, including biopharma companies, global health agencies, and governments, to improve global health outcomes. Responsibilities Responsibilities include: * Constructing a business strategy to enhance the organization's reputation and global impact. * Leading a high-performance team to develop effective biopharmaceutical interventions. * Cultivating relationships for additional funding opportunities. * Ensuring program quality, organizational stability, and compliance. * Overseeing fiscal activities, including budgeting and reporting. * Promoting an agile, innovative, and patient-focused culture. * Facilitating integration into the global community through public relations. * Serving as the chief spokesperson and advocating for the institute's capabilities. * Recruiting, developing, and retaining talent for the institute. Required Skills * 20+ years of global healthcare and/or biopharmaceutical experience, including board-level leadership. * Proven track record in international partnership building with various stakeholders. * Deep expertise in infectious disease and/or vaccine global communities. * Advanced degree and experience in team leadership, strategy development, and execution oversight. * Strong business acumen and leadership skills. * Commitment to ethics and the organization's values. * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. * Flexible, resourceful, and able to navigate fast-paced environments while driving results and prioritizing effectively.
